A multi-week series of hands-on chemistry experiments, from slime batches to color-changing reactions, with a real lab notebook kids fill in each week. Ms. Farrah keeps the questions coming right alongside the mess.
For Tarzana Science Studio
Solid class, kid loves going every week. My kid is slowly writing up their own lab notes, and street parking along Ventura Blvd is easy on weekday afternoons. Only reason it's not five stars is sibling pickup gets a little chaotic some days.
It's fine — kid enjoys it but I've seen better organized programs. My kid still enjoys it and is slowly explaining why the volcano erupted, but a couple of classes have been cancelled last minute with short notice.
Ms. Farrah is great, and overall we're really happy here. Would love a bit more communication about schedule changes, but my kid is genuinely explaining why the volcano erupted.
Can't say enough good things about Ms. Farrah. the small group size means my kid actually gets individual attention. They're writing up their own lab notes now and so proud of it.
Ms. Farrah is fantastic with the kids — my kid went from nervous to predicting what the reaction would do before it happened in just a few weeks. The strip mall lot fills up but there's usually a spot within a block. We'll be back every session.
Ms. Farrah is nice enough, though communication about schedule changes could be better. It's a fine option in the neighborhood but nothing that's really wowed us yet.
Ms. Farrah is great, and overall we're really happy here. Would love a bit more communication about schedule changes, but my kid is genuinely explaining how their catapult's lever worked.
