For teens already comfortable catching green waves, focused on bottom turns, cutbacks, and reading the lineup like a local. Sessions run in the water for the full two hours.
For Tidepool Surf School
Instructor Noa is great, and overall we're really happy here. Would love a bit more communication about schedule changes, but my kid is genuinely standing up for a full ride now.
Instructor Kai is great, and overall we're really happy here. My kid is slowly paddling out past the break without help, and drop-off line moves fast even when the lot is full. Only reason it's not five stars is the class can feel a little crowded some weeks.
Instructor Kai has so much patience, after class my kid was still buzzing about it at bedtime. Genuinely one of the best activities we've tried on the Westside.
Instructor Noa does a good job keeping everyone engaged. Street parking nearby is easy on weekday afternoons. My kid told grandma all about it on FaceTime that night most weeks, which says a lot.
Disappointed with how this has gone lately. The little lot fills up fast so we just park around the corner. Beyond that though, my main complaint is how hard it's been to reach anyone by phone or email.
Solid class, kid loves going every week. Would love a bit more communication about schedule changes, but my kid is genuinely reading which wave to catch now.
This has become the highlight of our week. watching my kid go from shy to confident here has been amazing — now they're paddling out past the break without help like it's nothing. Worth every credit.
Instructor Noa is fantastic with the kids — watching my kid go from shy to confident here has been amazing — now they're popping up on the first try like it's nothing. Worth every credit.
