A relaxed weekend drop-in for extra kata and technique practice outside the regular belt track. Good for kids testing soon who want the extra reps.
For Westside Dojo
We've been coming for months and Sensei Park still remembers every kid's name. after class my kid told grandma all about it on FaceTime that night. Genuinely one of the best activities we've tried on the Westside.
Sensei Park is fantastic with the kids — after class my kid told grandma all about it on FaceTime that night. Genuinely one of the best activities we've tried on the Westside.
Solid class, kid loves going every week. The little lot fills up fast so we just park around the corner. My kid told grandma all about it on FaceTime that night most weeks, which says a lot.
Sensei Whitfield has so much patience, after class my kid talked about it the whole car ride home. Genuinely one of the best activities we've tried on the Westside.
Can't say enough good things about Sensei Park. my kid went from nervous to remembering the whole kata in just a few weeks. Parking on the street can be tight right at pickup, but we've never circled more than a couple minutes. We'll be back every session.
Sensei Whitfield does a good job keeping everyone engaged. Would love a bit more communication about schedule changes, but my kid is genuinely remembering the whole kata now.
Solid class, kid loves going every week. A couple sessions felt rushed, but overall my kid is breaking a board for the first time and having fun.
Decent class overall, a few things could be smoother. Group sizes have crept up lately and it shows. Weekend parking gets crowded but there's usually a spot within a block. Kid still likes going, so we'll stick with it for now.
