Kids and teens write, shoot, and edit their own short films using real cameras and classroom laptops loaded with editing software, just off Reseda Blvd. By the end of a session everyone has a finished film to show at our little popcorn-and-red-carpet screening night. No experience needed — we teach storyboarding, camera basics, and editing from scratch.

Best class we've found in the Valley, hands down. He came home with a two-minute short film directed start to finish and he wouldn't stop talking about it. Mr. Desmond is wonderful with his whole group.
We like it overall, with some room to grow. The schedule has changed on us twice this term with pretty short notice. She did come home with a first real edited scene with actual sound design, so it's not all bad.
