Tidepool Explorers Club leads Pacific Palisades families straight down to the tide line to spot anemones, hermit crabs, and the occasional starfish at low tide. Naturalist guides teach kids to observe without disturbing, turning every walk into a real marine biology lesson. Bring a bucket — wet shoes are guaranteed.

This has become the highlight of our week. the small group size means my kid actually gets individual attention. They're identifying three tide pool creatures on their own now and so proud of it.
Guide Jonas is great, and overall we're really happy here. Would love a bit more communication about schedule changes, but my kid is genuinely finding a hermit crab all by themselves now.
Guide Jonas has so much patience, watching my kid go from shy to confident here has been amazing — now they're not being afraid to touch an anemone like it's nothing. Worth every credit.
Can't say enough good things about Guide Jonas. watching my kid go from shy to confident here has been amazing — now they're identifying three tide pool creatures on their own like it's nothing. Worth every credit.
Solid class, kid loves going every week. Would love a bit more communication about schedule changes, but my kid is genuinely finding a hermit crab all by themselves now.
Guide Jonas is great, and overall we're really happy here. My kid is slowly identifying three tide pool creatures on their own, and the little lot fills up fast so we just park around the corner. Only reason it's not five stars is the class can feel a little crowded some weeks.
Guide Jonas is fantastic with the kids — my kid went from nervous to identifying three tide pool creatures on their own in just a few weeks. Drop-off line moves fast even when the lot is full. We'll be back every session.
Disappointed with how this has gone lately. Communication has been the biggest issue — we never know until we show up if the class is even happening.
