Valley Baseline Tennis Club teaches Encino kids to rally, volley, and love the game on courts just blocks from Balboa Park. Small class sizes mean every junior gets personal feedback from Coach Elise, whether they're swinging a racquet for the first time or grinding out match points. Water breaks, sunscreen reminders, and a lot of high-fives are part of the deal.

It's fine — kid enjoys it but I've seen better organized programs. My kid still enjoys it and is slowly keeping score on their own, but a couple of classes have been cancelled last minute with short notice.
We've been coming for months and Coach Elise still remembers every kid's name. after class my kid said it was the best part of their week.

This has become the highlight of our week. after class my kid talked about it the whole car ride home. Genuinely one of the best activities we've tried in the Valley.
Coach Elise is fantastic with the kids — my kid went from nervous to placing a serve instead of just getting it in in just a few weeks. Parking near Balboa Park can be tight right at pickup, but we've never circled more than a couple minutes. We'll be back every session.
Disappointed with how this has gone lately. Communication has been the biggest issue — we never know until we show up if the class is even happening.
Can't say enough good things about Coach Elise. my kid went from nervous to placing a serve instead of just getting it in in just a few weeks. The little lot off Ventura Blvd fills up fast so we just park around the corner. We'll be back every session.
